Softsieve publishes plain-English guides to the software creators, solo founders, and small businesses run on. We started with email marketing platforms.

What we cover

We focus on the decisions readers get stuck on: which platform fits a given list size, what it really costs once your list grows, and how hard it is to switch. We write about tools with and without affiliate programs.

How we're funded

The site is funded by affiliate commissions. When you sign up for a paid plan through some of our links, the vendor may pay us a commission. You pay the same price. Commissions don't decide which tool we recommend, and every guide includes downsides and a "who should skip it" section for each tool. See our affiliate disclosure.

Who we are

Softsieve is an independent publisher based in Japan, writing for readers in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. We're not owned by, and don't take payment for placement from, any software vendor.
